MMCM / Mine Hunting Capability: Programme announcement in United Kingdom

OCCAR delivered the second UK MMCM Primary System, Adventure, to the Royal Navy on March 27, 2026. The system is part of the UK-France MMCM programme and uses an unmanned surface primary system with minehunting mission equipment. Kraken-Anduril Partnership: Partnership in United Kingdom

Kraken and Anduril established a partnership covering U.S. manufacturing and integration of Kraken USVs. K5 KRAKEN and K7 SABRE are intended for licensed U.S. manufacture and modular payload/autonomy integration. The agreement is not itself a procurement award.

MARS: Programme announcement in United Kingdom

SubSea Craft announced on May 12 that its evolved 4.5 m MARS USV had entered production and was in advanced testing under an existing customer contract. The customer, production quantity and contract value were not disclosed. The announcement does not establish a specific ASW procurement, so the application is retained under Others.

LASV75: Product launch in United Kingdom

Navantia UK unveiled the LASV75 large autonomous surface-vessel concept on May 19, 2026. The UK-designed 75 m uncrewed platform is intended for modular hybrid-fleet missions including surveillance, ASW, electronic warfare, escort and strike-related roles depending on payload configuration.

RNMB Ariadne: United Kingdom test and trial record

Ariadne completed intensive operational and accuracy testing off Portland. The testing included evaluation of the TSAM towed sonar against a surveyed seabed target. The trials generated evidence for possible operational use but did not themselves constitute acceptance or deployment.

Type 91 / Defence Investment Plan: Programme announcement in United Kingdom

Project Beehive support: United Kingdom contract and delivery record

BMT disclosed a contract supporting the introduction of Beehive USVs into Royal Navy service. RFA Lyme Bay Hormuz deployment: United Kingdom test and trial record

RFA Lyme Bay reached the Middle East carrying around half a dozen autonomous, crewless and remotely operated minehunting systems. The vessel had been converted into an afloat mothership for a potential multinational effort in the Strait of Hormuz.
